Bradford Competition
The inspiration for this came from an earlier
project which was based on the beauty, colour and texture of farm animals, looking at chickens and the highland cow in particular.
I incorporated digital print with machine stitch, and fabric/paper collage to
depict the colour, pattern and textures found on chickens. These techniques combined with a strong composition was used to create a large fabric based sample to fit within both a fashion and interiors setting, although this submission was predominantly aimed at a fashion context.
