Self Motivated Brief
The Woodland
This project is a continuation of the self motivated brief i was working to at the end of my third year. I feel i was unable to explore enough of the topic in the time scale i had, and therefore have decided to continue with the same brief throughout my fourth and final year. This project will be continually worked upon until the end of year, at which point, all work produced will go towards my degree show.
The project itself will look at the British woodland environment, taking inspiration from various elements within that. I will look closely at colour, texture and pattern incorporated with traditional handcraft techniques such as knit and embroidery to create sculptural pieces that fit within an interiors context.
I will be updating the work produced on a regular basis to show the progression of the project throughout the year.
